Back To The Future

Hey guys !

This post is regarding the histories of Sony and Canon brand

The Sony name was created by combining "SONUS," the original Latin for "SONIC," meaning sound, with "SONNY," denoting small size, or a youthful boy. It was chosen for its simple pronunciation that is the same in any language.Originally called Tokyo Tsushin Kogyo (Tokyo Telecommunications Engineering Company), Sony’s roots go back over half a century to 1946 when it was founded by Masaru Ibuka and Akio Morita.

Canon started out as a company with a handful of employees and a burning passion.
That company soon became a world-renowned camera maker and is now a global multimedia corporation. However, the origins success of Canon remain unchanged: the passion of Canon early years and technological expertise amassed over more than 60 years.
